Lobster in Boston!

標 題: 到波士頓吃龍蝦
發信站: 台大計中椰林風情站 (Fri May 19 11:47:51 2000)
龍蝦季節快到了,如果你要到波士頓吃龍蝦,
記得別去 Legal Seafood,那是凱子吃的。
推薦一個地方,哈佛很多人去吃過好幾次了,都讚不絕口。
"Mount Vernon",在Subway Orange Line Sullivan Square站。
出站後向左轉,沿著路走五分鐘,過了高架橋下就到了。
旺季時兩隻午餐 14.95,晚餐 16.95,還附沙拉、湯、麵包、薯條,
比去 Star Market買回家自己煮還便宜。

[Share] How to Donate in NYC
The Mayor's volunteer in NYC:
Donation all kinds of stuff, including clothing:

[Share]How to Donate Clothing in NYC

Donate clothing in New York City and help someone in need. Clothing is always needed for children and adults. Not everyone is as fortunate as most and donating unwanted clothes helps to fill a need. The clothes should be in good condition. These clothes go to families that have no way to buy clothes that are needed. There are many organizations that need clothing donated including thrift stores.
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
Things You'll Need:
* Unwanted clothes
* Places to donate
Step 1
Donate clothes to Housing Works in New York. The program works with at risk people that have HIV or Aids. They also work with homeless people that need clothing. They prefer clothes donations that are not damaged or soiled. They accept shoes, clothing and other household goods.
Step 2
Clean clothing can be donated to New York Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter. This organization helps people that are homeless find homes, food and clothing. They are always in need of clothing including babies, children's and adult clothing.
Step 3
Donating clothes to St. John the Divine Cathedral can be done any day of the week. They specialize in helping people in the community that need clothing, food and shelter. They provide emergency services to people who have been left with housing due to fires or other issues.
Step 4
Give donations to the American Red Cross. They work with all areas of the city. They help wherever they are needed. This includes helping displaced families find clothing and shelter. They accept donations for clothing and food as well as volunteers to distribute clothing.
Step 5
Donations can be made to thrift stores in the New York City area. The thrift stores will sell the used clothes for very cheap prices. They sustain the business by selling clothes, furnishings and everything else people do not want anymore.

NY Getaways-Lakota Wolf Preserve

Last week my friends and I went to see wolves. It's in New Jersey. Around 2 hours from New York City. May need to drive, but a good place to go for kids and family!!!
There are about 24 wolves, 2 foxes and 2 XX cats (forgot the name of the cats). It takes about 2 hours to see the wolves and the introduction from the owner.
You may check the website to find out more.

The town also have some farms offer apple picking, and wine tasting!
